Britain's leader will push supporting countries to provide Ukraine with further advanced missile systems to target enemy locations during discussions in Britain on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukraine's leader the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have committed to grant the Ukrainian government defense assurances once hostilities pause is negotiated.

The Ukrainian leader has been appealing for weeks for more long-range weapons from allied countries, an action that Russia has cautions would escalate the war.

Ukraine's leader is travelling from Brussels, where he met European Union officials on yesterday pursuing financial support.

Sir Keir will encourage leaders to ramp up the provision of long-range weapons following a successful attack on a chemical plant in Bryansk, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

"And his horrific attacks on young children in a preschool this week demonstrate that abundantly clear," he added.

Financial Discussions

Sir Keir will discuss with supporting countries on how to withdraw Moscow's energy exports off the global market.
