The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Cocktail (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Combine every ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring to dissolve. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to cool down entirely. Decant into an sterilised bottle, close it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for about one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix every liquid ingredients into one large bottle, let it rest for one hour, then strain best through a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the premix into your stirring glass filled with ice, and agitate gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Strain into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch using a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
